Hunger-Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative

Management and follow-up

The Hunger Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative (HFLACI) is a commitment from the countries of the region. Its management and follow-up is carried out through the following organizations:

The projects of FAO that are in keeping with the Initiative, carry out their accountability through management by result, which includes the following instruments: Field Program Management Information System (FPMIS) and the platform of the Evaluation Monitoring System by Result (SIMER), at the project level; and Performance Management System (PEMS) and Program Planning, Implementation Reporting and Evaluation Support System (PIRES) at the individual level. These systems will make it easier to follow up on the activities of the projects and support actions to reach the goals of HFLACI.
