Hunger-Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative

2025 Working Group (GT2025)

The 2025 Working Group (GT2025) is a mechanism set up by the countries of the region to carry out a regular follow-up of the Hunger-Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative (HFLACI) as well as of the HFLACI Support Project. This working group maintains the flow of information between countries, and introduces relevant topics related to food and nutrition security in the region that need to be discussed and examined in depth.

As agreed during the III Meeting, the group is open to any country wishing to participate.

The group meets on an annual basis. Meetings have been held in Guatemala (2006), Colombia (2007), Argentina (2008), Ecuador (2010) Peru (2011), Guyana (2012), Guatemala (2013) and Mexico (2014).
